Compatible sensors can turn lights on when a room is used and off after a delay. We tune the detection area and timing so the lights do not interrupt someone sitting still.
Can smart lighting work with my existing light fixtures?
Yes. In most cases we work with what you have. Dimmers and smart switches replace standard switches at the wall - your existing fixtures stay. In new builds or full renovations, we design the entire system from scratch.
Do I need an app to control my lights?
No. Your existing wall switches still work. The app is an option, not a requirement. Most clients control their home by voice or by scene buttons we install in key locations.
What happens if the internet goes down?
With power available, supported local wall controls can continue working without internet. Remote access and some voice or cloud features may stop. We identify which functions remain available in your selected system.
Can lighting be automated based on time of day or sunrise and sunset?
Yes. We program sunrise and sunset offsets so your home responds to natural light cycles, not a fixed clock. Your lighting in January looks different from your lighting in July.
Is smart lighting worth it for a home that is already built?
It can be. We check the wiring, fixtures and rooms you want to control before recommending a retrofit. Some upgrades can use existing wiring; others need electrical work.
